Content licence and media provenance

The encyclopedia is built to be freely read, shared, and reused. Text and media carry different licences — here is the overview.

ARTICLE TEXT

All encyclopedia text is available under CC-BY-SA (Creative Commons Attribution–ShareAlike). You may share and adapt it, provided you credit Spaceflightpedia and keep the same licence on derivative works.

IMAGES AND VIDEO

Every media item carries its own licence and attribution — both are shown directly in the image viewer for each plate. Only licences compatible with commercial reuse and ShareAlike are accepted; non-commercial (NC) and no-derivatives (ND) licences are rejected at import.
